Obituary of Donald McCall
Donald Ross McCall of Teeswater, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family, on Easter Sunday, April 12th, 2020 at age 64.
Cherished husband of Darlene McCall (née Gamble).
Loving father of Janessa Younglao (Cody) of Teeswater and Angela McCall (Brady Wales) of Kingston and father to Amanda MacDonald (Jason) of Kingston and Dwayne Hyde of Clinton.
Proud Papa of Nolan and Avery MacDonald.
Beloved son of Lois McCall of Lucknow.
Missed by his sisters, Debbie Blake (Paul) of Goderich, Julie McCall (Donny Blake) of Blyth and Vickie Gamble (Doug) of Calgary.
Fondly remembered by his mother-in-law, Pat Gamble-Wheeler of Teeswater and in-laws, Donna Thompson (Dennis) of R. R. #3 Walkerton, David Gamble (Bonnie) of Teeswater, Doug Gamble (Vickie) of Calgary and Derrick Gamble (Shirley) of Formosa.
Also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and by Lloyd’s children, David Wheeler (Maureen) of Erinsville and Heather Montgomery (Doug) of Peterborough and their families.
Predeceased by his father Ross McCall and fathers-in-law, Bill Gamble and Lloyd Wheeler.
As a tribute to Don, a convoy of trucks will take place on Friday, April 17th beginning at 7 p.m. Trucks will travel from the Teeswater Arena to Edward Fuels via Clinton Street and return to the Arena. Any trucker wishing to be part of the convoy is asked to be at Arena for 6:45 p.m.
A celebration to honour Don’s life will be held at a later date.
Final resting place Culross-Teeswater Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation – Oncology Unit would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and can be arranged online, by calling the funeral home or at the Celebration of Life.
