It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our of husband, father. grandfather and great grandfather Donald “Donnie” Edward Trimper on December 5, 2020 at home. Born in Digby on May 13, 1948 he was a son of the late Edward and Marie (Ross) Trimper. Don loved camping, hunting and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Smiths Cove Fire Dept; former Supervisor at Canex, Manager of the Digby Co-op, maintenance manager for the Municipality of Annapolis at Raven Haven. He is survived by his wife the former Nadine O’Neil; son Tracey, daughter Shelley (Danny) Francis; grandson Dylan (Hallie) Francis; step grandsons Simon, Justin and Ryan Francis; step Great Grandchildren: Henry & Vivian Francis; Brother-in-law Terry (Janet) O’Neil; nephew Corey (Vickie) O’Neil. Beside his parents he was predeceased by a brother Gerald and in laws James and Audrey O’Neil. There is no visitation by family request. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. A family funeral service will be held at a later date. Donations in Donnie’s memory may be sent to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Smiths Cove Fire Department. On line condolences may be sent to www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
