Obituary of Donald Cameron
It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden death of Donald A (Frog) Cameron on August 9,2020 at his home in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Born in New Glasgow on December 9,1961 to Donald and Marie Cameron of Riverton.
Many years were spent with his sister Cathy as they built Ted’s Pizza in Stellarton together. He was fondly known as the quiet guy out back. His quiet demeanor however was outshined by his wit and sense of humour. When you were around Don rarely was there not a laugh to be had. He was always up for some fun which occasional included a glass of rum! His closest relationships were with his family and held them all dearly in his heart.
Surviving are his wife Bonnie (Fraser), her immediate family and their son Steven for which no words can describe how much he loved and was so proud of the young man he was becoming. Also left behind is his Mom Marie and brother Dale – which he conned at a very young age to tie his shoes even though he was the older brother thus starting a life long friendship.” Younger” sister Cathy Salter (Wade) that he drove completely crazy but they had a bond that could never be broken. Niece and God daughter Spencer Cameron that he claimed was “super” at everything, niece Tiffanie Cameron (Ryan) and nephew Brent Cameron (Leann) and their children.
As Neil Young has sung and Don with one of his best friends Steven Hughes Tried to sing…”It’s better to burn out than to fade away” Rest in Peace Dunnie
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Donald
