Donald Roy Shane
Peacefully at the Cornwall Hospice, on Monday, February 10, 2020. Donald Shane of Crysler at the age of 92. Dearly beloved husband of the late Shirley Beehler and dear companion of Loretta Chambers. Loving father of Deborah (Rene) Bedard, Brian (Cathy), Carolyn (Theo) Herfkens, Richard (Margaret), Sheldon (Diane), Sharon (Daren) Chambers, Stephen, Donna Shane-Zandbelt and Charles (Jane). Predeceased by his parents Emmett and Josephine Shane (nee MacGregor) his daughter Cathy (Ross) Valliant, his brothers Charles, Hubert and Leonard. Donald will be fondly remembered by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Chesterville, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chesterville on Monday, February 17 at 11am. Donations to the Winchester Hospital or the Cornwall Hospice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Spring interment at Notre Dame du Rosaire Cemetery in Crysler.
