1933 – 2020
Memramcook, NB (formerly of Cap-Pelé) – Donald Porelle passed away peacefully at the Foyer Saint Thomas in Memramcook on Friday, July 31, 2020 at the age of 87.
Born in Cap Pele, NB, he was the son of the late Adolphe and the late Lina (née Jacob) Porelle.
He is survived by his two daughters, Janice (Jean) Richard of Dieppe and Debbie Porelle of Moncton; his two grandchildren, Pierre (Parise) Richard of Dieppe and Nicole (Chris) Bourgeois of Moncton; as well as his former wife and the mother of his children, Noella (née LeBlanc) of Dieppe; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Donald was predeceased by his brother, Aime and his sisters, Marie, Jeanne, Marguerite, Doris, Eugenie and Laura.
As per Donald’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
For those who wish, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
The family wants to thank the staff of the Foyer Saint Thomas for the excellent care and support provided to Donald.
