1938-2020
Surrounded by his family at home, Donald Weldon
Paterson, husband of Mildred (Jackson) Paterson, passed away
peacefully on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at the age of
82.
Don was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church and
worked for JD Irving for 35 years.
Born on January 7, 1938 in Canaan, NB, he was the
son of the late Robert and Effie (Small) Paterson. Besides his wife of
62 years, he will be sadly missed by son Michael (Donna) Paterson, and
daughter Tammy (George) Black; four grandchildren, Vanessa Black
(Samuel), Robert (Heather) Paterson, Stephanie (Chad) McCann, and
Kelsey Black (Matt); two great grandchildren, James Paterson and Lydia
McCann, and furry companion Lucky. Survived also by sisters Theresa
Kincade and Barbara Wood, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased
by children Debbie and Freddie; brothers Wallace, Junior and Ken
Paterson; sisters Mabel Evans and Stella Sleep.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be a
private family service at New Canaan Baptist Church. Arrangements are
in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800). Interment at New
Canaan cemetery.

special thanks to Patricia and Tammy.
If desired, memorial donations to the New Canaan
Cemetery or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the
family.
