Donald “Frank”‘s Obituary
NEW GLASGOW – Donald Franklin “Frank” Russell, 69, New Glasgow passed away Friday, February 28, 2020 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Robert Hector Russell and Katherine Leona (Hatfield) (Russell) Chaisson. Frank had been employed with Day & Ross Inc. and drove cab for several years. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a mail carrier with Canada Post Corporation for 15 years. Frank enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with his canine pal, Rory.
Surviving are sons, Donald “Lewie” (Alexis), Calgary, Alta.; Franklin “Frank” (Tammy), Sydney; long-time partner, Karen, New Glasgow; wife, Susan, Greenfield; sister, JoAnn Priest, New Glasgow; brothers, Parker, Dryden, Ont.; John (Elaine), New Glasgow; Gerald, Calgary, Alta.; Jeffery “Jeff” (Annette), Dryden; sisters-in-law, Carol Russell, Dryden; Susan Russell, Pine Tree; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Steve and George.
In keeping with Frank’s wishes his family will celebrate his life privately.
