Donald “Donnie” E. Reeves
1947-2020
At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charlottetown on Monday
November 16, 2020, with his beloved wife and three children at his
side of Donald E. (Donnie) Reeves of Cornwall aged 73 years.
Born in Charlottetown, October 18, 1947 son of the late Everett and
Margaret (McQuaid) Reeves. Husband of Pauline (Dunphy)
Reeves.
Father of Chris (Jacqueline) Reeves, Pam
Reeves and Jason (Tammy) Reeves. Grandfather of Kristyn,
Lauryn, Nicholas and Erin. Stepfather of Shirley (Roger)
Deveau, Reggie (Joy) Deagle and Allan Deagle. Step
grandfather of Amber, Amanda, Stephanie, Sarah, Brent, Tyler, Cory and
Ryan. Step great-grandfather of Rachel, Malcolm and
Aiden.
Brother of Connie Doucette, Cynthia Lawless (Justin) Mary
Reeves (Sharon), Wayne Reeves, Billy Reeves (Jean), Brian
Reeves (Karen), Jimmy Reeves (Kathy) and Bernard Reeves
(Darlene).
Brother-in-law of Kenny Gallant, Harvey Vissey,
Vivian (Perley) Moore, Alfred (susan) Dunphy, Lorna (Angus) MacDonald,
Carolyn (Alvin) Boudreau, Foch (Debbie) Dunphy and Larry (Marilyn)
Dunphy. Also survived by several nieces and
nephews.
Predeceased by his sisters Donna Mae Gallant and Carol
Vissey, brother-in-law Joe Doucette, sisters in-law Anna Marie Reeves
and Jody Reeves.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. Due to
Covid-19 restrictions no public Visitation will be held. A private
funeral mass will be at St. James Roman Catholic Church and will be
available to view
online after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Interment in the
Parish Cemetery. If so desired memorial donations may be made to
the heart and stroke Foundation or the PEI Humane
Society.
