1944-2020
SAINT-CHARLES, NB – Dolor Martin 75, of
Saint-Charles, NB passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital
in Ste. Anne de Kent on Monday, August 24, 2020. Born in St.
Louis, he was the son of the late Colombin Martin and late Florence
(Robichaud) Martin. Before retiring, Dolor was a
mechanic.
Dolor will be sadly missed by his wife, Delphine (Robichaud)
Martin of Saint-Charles; one daughter, Rachel Robichaud (Maurice) of
Aldouane; three sons, Maurice Martin (Lisa), Jean-Guy Martin
(Sylvette), Philip Martin all of Bouctouche; two step-daughters,
Simonne Stewart (Michel) of St. Louis, Pierrette Landry (Alain) of
Pointe-Sapin; four step-sons, Pierre Stewart (Loretta Robichaud) of
Aldouane, John Stewart, Nazaire Stewart both of St. Louis, Douglas
Stewart of Moncton; five grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren;
eight great grandchildren and four step-great
grandchildren.
He is also survived by three sisters, Lilianne Martin of St.
Louis, Delisca Martin of Montreal, Thérèse
Martin (Gilles) of St. Ignace; five brothers, Leonide Martin of St.
Louis, Emerie Martin of Memramcook, Florent Martin (Jacqueline) of St.
Louis de Blanford, QC, Alvin Martin (Peggy) of St. Louis, Philias
Martin of Kouchibouguac and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife,
Gemma (Duplessis) Martin and his son, Laurie “Bill”
Martin.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm
(only) at Thompson Memorial Home in Saint-Louis-de-Kent. A
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 11:00
am, St. Charles Borromée Roman Catholic Church in
Saint-Charles.
Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto (523-4252).
