Dieppe, – Elias “LEE” Manuel, 83, of Dieppe and formerly of Baie Sainte-Anne, passed away on Sunday, November 1st, 2020 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Chatham, NB, he was the son of the late André and the late Barbara (née: Chiasson) Manuel.
Prior to his retirement, Elias worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was a “jack of all trades”, he took great pride in working in his garage and enjoyed going dancing.
He is survived by his daughter, Monique (Marc) McGeachy; his sons: Mario (Rachel) of Baie-Sainte-Anne and Michael (Sharon) of Dieppe; his grandchildren: Chelsea, Samantha, Jonathan, Emma, Brandon, Alyssa and Celeste; his great grandson, Benjamin; his sisters: Prescilla (Johnny) of Fredericton, Vitaline (Lucien) of Rogersville and Jacqueline (Emilien) of Baie Saint-Anne; his brother, Albert (Leola) of Baie Sainte-Anne; his special friend, Lorraine Savoie, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Dolores (née: Martin); his son, Paul-André; his sisters: Madona, Dorina, Genevieve, Dora, Eliza and Meldred and also by his brothers: Clement and Anthime.
Due to the current pandemic guidelines, everyone attending the funeral service will be mandated to wear a mask and follow social distancing.
A private funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 10th, 2020 at 11 am, from Baie Sainte-Anne Roman Catholic Church for family and friends.
