Obituary of Dianna Joan Isenor
ISENOR, Dianna Joan- age 76 of Enfield, passed away December 16, 2020 at the Magnolia Enhanced Care, Enfield. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Joan McNorton (Trider) and Lorne Varner.
Dianna worked many years at Mount St. Vincent’s Motherhouse, looking after retired nuns. She was a foster parent for over 15 years. Dianna enjoyed camping and spending time with her family.
She is survived by sons, David (Angela) Isenor, Milford; Stephen Isenor, Tatamagouche; and daughter, Darlene (Gary) McNeil, Milford; grandchildren, Randy, Michael, Nathan, Justin, Chelsey, Talisa, Stevie and Sebestyen; great grandchildren, Linley and Cole; siblings, Don McNorton (Glyn Roberts), ON; Dennis (Cathy) McNorton, ON; Susan (Alfie) Kent, ON; Deby (Danny) MacAlpine, Shelburne; Sue (Fred) Davis, Shelburne; Lorne (Connie) Varner, Halifax; Kelley Varner, Midville Branch and Earlene Varner, Victoria, BC.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Hector Isenor and a twin sister at birth.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, a funeral service will be held a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
