It is with great sadness we, the family of Devon McCrum, announce that Devon passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 45 years with family by his side.
Devon is survived by his wife Jennifer; beloved daughters Victoria and Samantha; parents Jim and Heather McCrum; brother Colan (Kathy); nephew Fynn; niece Maeve; in-laws Bill and Carroll Castle; sister-in-law Susan (Bruce) Hodges; nephew Jack Hodges; niece Sara Hodges; and brother-in-law Andrew Castle. He is also survived by his Aunt and Uncle Dale and Edna Wilde and his cousins Cathy, Karin, Laurie and their families.
Devon was a loving, devoted father and uncle, known for his unique ability to connect with all kids. He had a passionate love for sports (especially USC college football). He was full of energy and life when he was on the field as a coach, helping his daughters and many kids learn to work together and excel at sports. We will miss his infectious smile, the sparkle in his eyes and his recognizable sense of humour. Devon’s memory will forever live within our hearts.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible staff in the Regina General Hospital Emergency and MICU Wards. A special thank you to the many cherished friends that have supported the family during this difficult time.
