Obituary of Derek Horton
HORTON, Derek
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Derek Horton of Brantford, Ontario on August 3rd, 2020, at the age of 60 years. Derek will be remembered and forever loved by his wife, Francis Horton, and his children David (his wife, Kathryn), Martin, Christina and Thomas Horton and his sister Bonnie Horton. As well, he will be always remembered by his other family and friends. Derek was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Muriel and sister, Liz and her husband John. Friends will be received at the HILL and ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street, on Friday August 7th, from 11-1 p.m. A private family service will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak the family can only invite a limited number of people to the service at this time. Following the service will be the graveside service at Oakhill Cemetery, 17 Jennings Road, Brantford. The family would like to thank all of the supportive staff at the Brantford General Hospital for their care of Derek. Derek went peacefully, surrounded by love and prayers of his family.
