It is with tremendous sadness we announce the passing of Dennis Isao Maihara after a valiant battle with cancer.
He will be lovingly missed by his daughter Kaylyn, and his many extended families. He was brother to Michiko, Pat (Louayne), Kathryn (Joe), and David (Yuriko). He was predeceased by his sister Frances (survived by husband Mot), brother-in-law Manabu, and sister-in-law Margaret. He was also a big part of many nieces’ and nephews’ lives.
He will be remembered for his warm smile, kind caring soul, and his “kid at heart” sense of humour.
Upon Dennis’s request, there will be a private family graveside gathering and no formal service.
In lieu of koden or flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be much appreciated.
Be at peace now, until we meet again.
