Dennis “Denny Aubrey Miller January 23 2020

Miller, Dennis “Denny” Aubrey – Age 72 of Bible Hill. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Denny on Thursday, January 23, 2020 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Denny was born in Halifax, a son of the late Aubrey Miller and Marion McGrath.
As a young man he lived in Williamsdale where he kept a small hobby farm and autobody business. Denny spent the greater part of his life as a long-haul truck driver with various companies including Moffats, United Van Lines, Sunbury and most recently Connors, developing lifelong friendships along the way. He eventually settled in Truro where he owned and operated Surplus Stores Ltd. Denny was an avid fly fisherman, hunter and in the last few years could be found in his work shop carving wooden creations.
He leaves behind his partner, Debbie Rutledge; and children, Jeanne and Logan, all of Bible Hill; Paula, Dominican Republic; as well as siblings, Lana, Elaine, Paul and Barry. He was predeceased by sister, Paulette; and infant daughter, Sarah Rose.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit. A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, January 28 from 2-4 p.m. in the Horsemen’s Club, Truro. A burial will be held at a later date.
