PAROLI, née Szerman, DENISE
A Holocaust Survivor
Peacefully on Friday, September 11th, 2020 at age 87. Devoted wife of the late Elie for 61 years. Truly beloved and devoted mother to Ava, Ralph (Eva) and the late Jenny. Daughter of the late Esther Faigel and Avrum Szerman. Sister to Ronnie Sherman (Montreal). Predeceased by her brothers Max and Sam, and many family members who perished during the Holocaust. Fondly remembered by all family members in Montreal and France. Special thank you to Nasra and the hospital staff of the Ottawa General ICU. Funeral services will be held at the Jewish Memorial Gardens on Sunday. Due to the pandemic, shiva will be private. In Memoriam donations to the Montreal Holocaust Museum (museeholocauste.ca) or Beit Halochem (beithalochem.ca) would be appreciated.
