October 12, 1951 – August 18, 2020

Denis Rosaire Martineau, 68 of Eastern Passage N.S. passed over peacefully August 18, 2020 at Camphill Veterans Memorial with his wife Marilyn of 47 years by his side. Denis was born in Beauport, Quebec, October 12, 1951. Denis was predeceased by his parents Rita (Trudel), Albert Martineau. He was Papa to MaLinda, Janie (Patrick), Daniel (Julie) and also Papa to 8 grandchildren, Alexis, Jordan, Dawson, Emily, Jacob, Livia, Rebecca and Baby Owen. Brother to Pierre (Francine), Robert (Josée), Claude (Penny), Jacques (Rita), Josée (Serge), Lucie and many nieces and nephews. Denis retired from the Royal Canadian Navy September 2011 after 42 years of service. He loved spending time with his family, going fishing and playing hockey with the CFB Old Timers. A special thank you to the Angels of 5-East at Camphill for the care and compassion they have shown during this difficult time and during his stay. Cremation has taken place with Dartmouth Funeral Home; Queen St. Dartmouth N.S. Due to travel restrictions with Covid-19 a celebration of life for Denis will be announced at a later date.
