Denis L’egare’ was a loving husband, father,brother and a son. At the age of 67, he succumbled to a lengthy battle with cancer. Denis leaves behind his loving family – wife Terri Aikenhead, daughter Lisa (David) Goguen of Anagance, NB, his son Russel Leblance of Bouctouche, NB, his daughter Meggan L’egare’ of Edmonton, AB.
He was the first born son of Dora(Leblanc) L’egare’ and the late Camille L’egare’. He is also Survived by his siblings Linda (Jean_Guy) Cormier of Cocagne, NB, Nathan (Christof) Scholtissek of Germany, Robert (Gisele) L’egare’ of Saint-Gregoire, NB, and Joanne (Ricky) L’egare’ of Cocagne, NB. Denis cared for and was very proud of all of his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
“Denis has touched many people in his life and will be in our hearts forever. His Love of music, sense of humour and caring nature are all things I treasure. I feel privileged to have been his life partner and his best friend. Rest in peace, my Love.”- Terri
Denis’ remains will be sent to New Brunswick as per his wishes for his final resting place in Sainte Marie de Kent. In lieu of memorial flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Canadians Cancer Society.
