Obituary of Deltha Genevieve Harriman
Deltha Harriman, June 29, 1919 – February 16, 2020
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Deltha Harriman, age 100, on February 16, 2020. Deltha passed away totally surrounded by love at Saskatoon City Hospital. Left to cherish her memories are her children Lloyd (Marlene), Patricia, Arnold (Maribel), Arlene, Audrey (daughter-in-law), Nolen (Diane), Craig (Linda), Rosemary (Bob), and Melanie and 112 grandchildren (great and great-great). She was predeceased by her husband Fred, son Ashley and great grandson Joey, as well as her parents and siblings. Deltha was born on a farm near Peterson to Mike and Mary Kaminsky, the youngest of nine children. She married Fred in 1940 and together they raised nine children. They owned and operated Harriman’s Esso Service as well as farming until they moved to Saskatoon in 1964. Deltha worked at various jobs as well as providing care for special needs people for many years. She always had the door open for everyone with her unending hospitality including her countless meals of borscht, cabbage rolls, perogies and homemade buns. Family was her biggest passion.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church (1902 Munroe Avenue, Saskatoon SK) with Celebrant Fr. Ken Forster, OMI on February 20, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Rite of Committal will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Cosmopolitan Industries Ltd. (1302 Alberta Avenue, Saskatoon SK S7K 1R5) or to a charity of your choice.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Deltha
