1926-2020
Délina Bastarache, 94, of Bouctouche Cove, passed away
peacefully, surrounded by her family, at her residence on Thursday
August 6, 2020. She was married to the late Levi Bastarache (1988).
Born I Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late
Fidèle and the late Délina (Pellerin) LeBlanc.
She will be dearly missed by her nine children; Claudette Allain
(Jean-Noel), Marie Maillet (Gilles), Bernice Dallaire (Ulysse),
Andréa Saulnier (Laurie), Monique Allain (Guy) all of Bouctouche,
Jeannette Saulnier (Joey) of McKees Mill, Clarence (Oliva) of
Bathurst, Antoine (Marie) and Paul (Joanne) of Bouctouche, her nine
grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn
her son-in-law; Alfred Bourgeois de Moncton, her two brothers; Arthur
Nowlan (Rita) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Jim Nowlan (Irène) of
Moncton and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one daughter; Florence (2000), one sister
Rosée, and seven brothers; Edgar, Abel, Jos, Robert, Emile,
Edouard and Albert.
Due to the pandemic, a private visitations and a private funeral Mass
will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church,
Bouctouche a later date. Interment will be in the parish
cemetery.
In Délina’s memory, donations can be made online to the Red
Cross (home equipment), Richiboucto (523-4479) or to the parish.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
