Debra’s Obituary
WHITE, Debra Anne ~ Age 63 of Greenwood passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020 in Valley Regional Hospital with her Loving Husband Reg by her side. Born in Digby, she was a daughter of Alfred and Louise (Stoddart) Potter. Debra had a passion for travel with her many friends and family, with one of her highlights being a trip to Hawaii where she successfully scaled “Diamond Head”, a truly remarkable and proud moment for her. Loving many types of music, she especially enjoyed dancing to her favorite, “Bon Jovi”. and took every opportunity to celebrate life with her family and friends. Debra is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Reginald, mother, Louise Potter, Clementsvale, sisters, Valerie (Mike) Banks, Smith’s Cove, Sandra Potter, Greenwood, brothers, Barry (Jane) Potter, Kevin Potter, both of Clementsvale , an abundance of nieces and nephews (with whom she had an extreme amount of love). She was predeceased by her father, Alfred and brother, Wayne. There will be a private Memorial Service with Wade Seymour, a longtime family friend officiating. Due to public gathering restrictions, a live stream of the service may be viewed through the funeral home website “Live Stream”. Donations in Debra’s memory can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. 902-825-3448.
