DAVIDSON Robert “Bob September 7 2020

Robert Notman Davidson, Jr.,
November 6, 1950 – September 7, 2020
New Sarepta, Alberta – aka “Bicycle Bob”, (69). Bob slipped peacefully into eternity following a brief illness. We are truly grateful for the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff of Grey Nuns Community Hospital in Edmonton who cared for my dad before his passing.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Robert Notman Davidson, Sr. and Ethel McCull Davidson. Bob had one brother Bill Neish of Edinburgh, Scotland and his sister, Helen Allan (nee Davidson) of Toronto Ontario; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was born in Dundee, Scotland and immigrated to Canada on May 29, 1956. Bob was definitely proud of his Scottish heritage.
He is survived by his beloved son, Luke Mastervick (a former Ontarian, resides now in Macon, Georgia); daughter-in-love, Racara, and beautiful grandchildren, Jadelyn and Whitley (Davidson) Mastervick. Bob was well known in the community and had an affinity for bikes and his dogs, with a huge heart for all animals and animal advocacy. Down through the years, God richly blessed Bob with many friends who provided and cared for him in a variety of invaluable and immeasurable ways.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Zion Evangelical Missionary Church, New Sarepta, Alberta (5058 2nd Street, New Sarepta, AB).
In lieu of flowers please feel free to make a donation to the Edmonton Humane Society or to the SPCA of Alberta.
