Obituary of David Larry Bennett
David passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family after a couragous battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his first wife, Audrey Bennett (nee Allan); his parents, Colin and Beatrice Bennett; his brother, Donnie Bennett; his brother in law, Steve Krasko; and his in law’s, Gordon and Darlene Winder. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of almost 29 years, Brenda Bennett (nee Winder); his children, Trina (Gerry) Sigrist, Tracey Bennett, Tammy Bennett, Steven (Terra) Hesterman, Stacie (Ryan) Biberdorf; his grandchildren, Drayton, Preston, Rylan, Ethan, Carter, Adria, Rhianna, Brody and Tristan; his sisters, Hilda Krasko, Betty (Grant) Stonehouse, Colleen (Reg) Mogge; his sisters in law, Marlene (Randy) Pond, Cheryl (Darrell) Denet; his brother in law, Gordon (Robin) Winder; his numerous nieces and nephews; and his friend and travel buddy, Bob Schmidt. The family wishes to send a special thank you to David’s Doctors, and the Palliative Care Team for the wonderful care and support they provided during this difficult time, and to those who stopped by for a visit with David during his illness, it was greatly appreciated. In keeping with David’s wishes no Funeral Service will be held. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to a charity of choice.
