Schoenhals, David Earl
Passed away peacefully at his home in Elmira on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the age of 79 after a short battle with sarcoma cancer.
Beloved husband for 49 years of Gloria (Kraemer). Dear brother of John (Sharon) Schoenhals, Judy Bierman, Susan (Don) Wieck, and brother-in-law of Gerard (Deb) Kraemer and Dan (Judy) Kraemer, Jo Kraemer.
David is lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Earl and Margaret Schoenhals, in-laws Thomas and Rita (Foerster) Kraemer, and brothers-in-law Dennis Kraemer, and Frank Kraemer.
David was a 30 year employee of the Kitchener Fire Department, also a longtime, active member of St. James Lutheran Church, Elmira.
At Dave’s request, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation and service will the held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Food Grains Bank at Woolwich Community Services or St. James Lutheran Church, Elmira would be appreciated and may be placed through the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
