Obituary of David Boyd
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the death of David Wilfred “Moose” Boyd, which occurred unexpectedly on June 18, 2020. David was born in Toronto, ON, on March 14, 1951, a son of Helen (Strachan) Boyd and the late Bert Boyd.
Besides his wife Ruth (Warner) Boyd and his mother Helen, David is also survived by his son Daniel (Meagan) Boyd of MASS, USA; daughters: Cathy (Peter) Hayes of Mount Pearl, NL, Angela Boyd of Dieppe, NB, Barbara (David) Crowe of Smiths Creek, NB; grandchildren: Philip (Emma), Brittany, Andrew (Shavelle), Timothy (Kayleigh), Makaila, Seth, Abbygail, Tyson, Cody, James, Lily (Spencer), Isabella, Arthur; great-grandchildren: Paul, Zachary, Benjamin; brother John Boyd; sister Lorraine (Thurland) Brown; several nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his father, Bert Boyd; brother Gordon Boyd; granddaughter Allyson Mayfield and sister Karen Boyd.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus (506-433-1176). Due to COVID-19 the funeral service will be held privately. Interment will take place in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Sus Corner.
