David William Leslie Livingstone
1940 – 2020
It is with deep regret we announce the passing of David William Leslie Livingstone, P.Eng. David was surrounded by his wife & 3 sons at St. Boniface Hospital on August 9, 2020 at the age of 79.
David is survived by his wife Verna Livingstone, his brother, Richard (Billie) & sons Warren (Terra), Martin, Cam (Terry), and step-son Sam (Emma). Predeceased are his parents David & Dorothy Livingstone & sister, Barbara Lowther.
After graduating as an Electrical Engineer, David worked for Canada Wire & Cable and later went on to sell Life Insurance at Monarch Life. After working for Century Flooring, David became co-owner of Winnipeg Sewer & Drain from 1980 until selling the company in 2013. David & Verna enjoyed their summers with friends and family at their cottage in Silver Harbour. David kept busy in retirement as Treasurer for the Unitarian church.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 14, 2020 at Bardal Funeral Home. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery. Due to covid-19 restrictions, we ask you to please join us for a live stream via Bardal Funeral Home Facebook page.
