Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of William David Rowe which occurred unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, June 11th, 2020. Born 1958, in Saint John, he is the son of William and Lorraine (Jeffries) Rowe. David worked as a Red Seal Master Welder for the Dry Dock for many years. He was an avid Montreal Canadiens fan and he adored his dog Chloe. David enjoyed spending time with his brothers and he cherished every moment spent with his father-his best friend.
David is survived by his loving and devoted wife Deborah (Bastarache) of 41 years; son Mike Rowe (Lynn Wood) of Saint John; daughters Christina McLean (Yves) of Saint John, Laura Rowe of Saint John; brothers Kevin (Tammy), Karl, Stephen (Wanda) all of Saint John, Richard of Hamilton, ON., Ronald of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren Kiara Frost, Christopher Frost, Sarah Rowe, Austin Rowe, Hannah Hovey, Emma Hovey, David McLean, Morgannah McLean, Aliyah Corbett, Haylee Toth; great grandson Denver Front; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. David was predeceased by his brothers Christopher and Donald.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Due to the ongoing pandemic, private services will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of David may be made to the Saint John SPCA-Animal Rescue or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
