David’s Obituary
After a hard-fought battle with cancer, Dave Rumbolt, 64, of Woody Point / Corner Brook passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning, August 30, 2020 with his daughters by his side. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Jerome Rumbolt and Violet (Taylor) Rumbolt, and by his eldest brother, Gerald Rumbolt. He leaves to mourn his two daughters Jennifer Broadbent (Mike) and Heather Huybregts (Jeremy); grandsons Chase, Marek, Oberyn and Jaren; mother of his daughters, Sherry Dean; brothers Albert (Melva), Paul (Michele) and Mike (Tina); sister-in-law, Judy Rumbolt; nephew, Glen Rumbolt (Jackie); and many other dear friends and relatives. As per Dave’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private Celebration of Life will be held at his daughter’s home with Dave’s close relatives on Wednesday, September 2 at 2:00 PM. In remembrance, if you wish, donations can be made in Dave’s name to PURA Syndrome Foundation or the Ronald McDonald House.
