Obituary
On Sunday October 11th, 2020, David Burt passed away suddenly at the age of 77.
Dave was born in St. Anthony, Newfoundland to Minnie and John Burt.
A graduate of MUN and Nova Scotia Technical College, Dave became one of the most well-respected civil engineers in Newfoundland, his memory living on in the company he founded, DBA Consulting Engineers Ltd (formerly Dave Burt and Associates).
Dave will be forever remembered by Ruby, his loving wife of 54 years, his children, Terry (Kim), and Natasha (Boris) his sister Donna, grandchildren Maggie, Kaitlyn, Nikolai, and Luka, as well as the many other family members, friends and work colleagues.
The family would like to especially thank niece Kathy Elliott, Ruby’s brother Everett Elliott and special family friend Yvonne Dillon.
Visitation will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday, October 16th, 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm.
