David Bartibogue
1962-2020
David Bartibogue, companion of Marilyn Joe of Esgenoopetitj, NB, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on July 1st, 2020 at the age of 58. Born in Miramichi, David is the son of Joseph and Emily (Joe) Metallic.
David was a fisherman.
David is survived by his parents: Joseph and Emily (Joe) Metallic; five sisters: Darlene Francis (Preston), Delores Metallic (John Larry), Carla Metallic, Irene Bartibogue (Laurie Mitchell) and Theresa Bartibogue, all of Esgenoopetitj, NB; eight brothers: Isaac Bartibogue, Daniel Bartibogue, Leroy Metallic, Daren Metallic, Dalen Metallic, Mike Bartibogue, Noel Bartibogue and Wilfred Bartibogue, all of Esgenoopetitj, NB; one Godchild: Tori Metallic as well as several nieces and nephews.
David is predeceased by one sister: Sandra Sock; four brothers: Robert Metallic, Thomas Bartibogue, William Bartibogue and Robert Bartibogue.
Visitation will be held at 9 Algonquin Road, Esgenoopetitj, NB on Sunday, July 5th in the afternoon as well as on Monday, July 6th. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Esgenoopetitj, NB on Tuesday, July 7th at 11 AM with Father Rodrigo Tabilona officiating. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Cemetery.
