PRENTICE, David Patrick “Dave”
passed after a courageous battle surrounded by his family on Friday November 13, 2020. Beloved husband of Sandy (nee Barrette) for 55 years. Loving Dad of Dane (Chantelle), Dree Damphouse (Jim), Drae (Kathleen) and Chantelle Pickel (Gord). Proud Pop of Ethan, Kylee, Sabrina, Damian (Courtney), Hailey (Jeremy), Madison (Brian), Zack (Shelby), Megan, Maya, Kaitlynn, Calvin and Great Papa of Dannika and Axton. Dearest brother of late Marilyn (Ross), late Bill, Eddy (late Sharon) (Heidi), Allan (Janice), Woody (Linda), late Walter (late Marion), Valerie (Bob), Jimmy (Irene), and Danny (Cheryl). Brother-in-law of Jerry (Liz) and Randy (Chris). Dave will also be remembered and missed by his many nieces and nephews. Dave worked hard and played harder. He was a jokester and didn’t miss too many last calls. He will be remembered as a gentle giant. The family would like to thank all of the staff at Royal Oak in Kingsville for their exceptional care given to Dave and his family. In following Dave’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 1 – 4 pm at Reid Funeral Home, 87 Maidstone Ave. E., Es (519-776-4233).
