It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the Sudden loss of Darryll on Wednesday June 24.
He spent many weekends with his Nanny and Papa when his Dad was off at work, they helped to lay structure, nurturing and a Catholic background for his young mind. As a child he also loved swimming at the water park with his Papa.
Also as a young child Darryll and his younger brother David would often go into their Dad’s room at night and sleep on either side of the bed because they were scared and it would often end in a fun time tossing socks at the ceiling fan and watching them fly!
He enjoyed playing Pokémon and Gameboy, later as he became an adult his love for computer games carried on. Darryll was also an avid reader, reading Harry Potter books then watching the movies and one of his favorite shows was Game Of Thrones.
As he grew he had to change schools at one point (because of school closure) and he was then in with a completely new set of people. One of those friends calmly speaks of how they thought he was a mad kid and it just turns out he was shy of new places and people and once he had his little circle of friends they soon found out how funny he was and how he loved to make people laugh.
He spoke very fondly of his Toronto friends that he left behind when he moved to Winnipeg, and his Winnipeg friends when he moved back for a couple of years. Always looking for greener grass he enjoyed working for moving companies wherever he went.
When in Toronto, Darryll often took his weekends off to visit his Aunt and Uncle in Georgetown, and loved playing and spending time with his young cousins.
Darryll is survived by his Grandmother Barbara & her husband Lawrence, his father Michael and step-mother Therese, his brother David and his step brothers Aaron (Kayla) and Taylor (Julia) & step-sister Lauren, Uncle David, Uncle Chris & Aunt Shan Xu (cousin Jaden) Uncle Richard & Aunt Amy (cousins Declan & Clara)
He is also predeceased by his Grandfather Thomas Brown and his mother Robin Campbell

To my best friend , an absolute legend , your presence will be missed every day brotha but never forgotten , until we meet again you will live on in our hearts.
I only heard about this a few months ago so I had no idea. I went to elementary school with Darryll back in the day. He was a great friend and I remember the one time when Britney Spears first came on the music scene out he had a crush on her.
Going to miss you buddy,
