Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Darryl William Wollin on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the age of 84 years.
Darryl is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Shirley; his six children, Penny (Gary) Smale, Michael (Tracey) Wollin, Terry (Linda) Wollin, Cindy (Reg) Jansen, Shelley Wollin, and Bonnie (Ken) Reid. Darryl leaves behind 20 grandchildren and step grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren & step great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Alfred Cooper; as well as numerous other family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Nettie Wollin; his brother, and sister in law, Dale and Joan Wollin; sisters, Linda Wollin and Barbara Cooper. Quick witted, generous and kind, he was always willing to lend a hand, ear, share a joke, or challenge you to a game of cribbage.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private service will be held at a later date (September 12, 2020).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dalby Cemetery Foundation, the Cross Cancer (11560 University Ave, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2), or Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Research (804-2 Lansing Square
