Obituary of Darlene Forsythe
Nancy “Darlene” Forsythe, 64 of Westville passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow with her daughter by her side.
Born in New Glasgow on July 13, 1956, she was a daughter of the late George and Nora (Higgins) Bushulak.
Darlene grew up in Stellarton where she was a member of the Balmoral Girls Pipe Band, enjoyed skating at Stellarton Rink and and graduated Stellarton High School. After moving to Westville, she worked at Tim Hortons for several years, eventually becoming Assistant Manager of the Westville Store.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter Carla (Stephen MacDonald), Westville; a son Brian (Serena), Calgary; grand children, Madison (Patrick), Halifax; Tianna, Ottawa and Noah, Westville. She is also survived by her sister Karen Hubley (Manny), Sheet Harbour and brother Albie Bushulak, Stellarton.
Darlene was predeceased by her parents, a grand daughter Vickie Lynn, sister Margaret Seymour and brother George Bushulak.
Her family will receive visitors on Saturday, November 21 from 7-9 pm at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. There will be no funeral service. Family flowers only, donations in Darlene’s memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care.
