After a courageous battle with cancer, the family announces the passing of our beloved wife, mother, Kokom and sister, Darlene. …
Predeceased by her mother, Doris Bear (nee Sparvier), father, Albert Bear, Son, Richard, sister, Carol and nephews, Jamie Bear and Billy Louison, brother-in-law George Beaudin.
Darlene leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband and soul mate, Blair Taypotat of 47 years, her daughter, Lynn Bear, son, Scott Lerat, adopted son, Amos Paypompee, from Whitefish Bay, Ontario, Granddaughters, Rebecca and Tianna Sangwais, and Sheray Bear, grandsons Dylen Bear and Andrew Sangwais, Sisters, Patti Delorme (Chibo), Denise Beaudin, Brother, Bradley Bear (Lorrie). Uncle Orval Bear, adopted brothers Louis Tapper and Albert Isaac Jr. she took Mildred Tanner and Deloris Delorme as sisters and her Taypotat brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Wake will be held Monday January 20, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chief Denton George Memorial Multiplex, Ochapowace First Nation. Funeral service will be held the following day, Tuesday January 21, 2020 beginning with a traditional feast all 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the same location. Interment to follow in the Bear Valley family cemetery, Ochapowace First Nation. Arrangements entrusted to Conley Funeral Home, Fort Qu’Appelle, Raymore, Wolseley, and Wynyard SK. 306-332-0555.
