It is with great
sadness, the family announces the passing of Darlene Elaine Knorr of
Burton, NB on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers
Hospital. Born at Fredericton Junction, she was the daughter of the
late George and Idella (Reid) Hall.
Darlene
cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great
grandchildren, an avid bingo player, she enjoyed family dinners and
knitting. She was a long-time and proud member of the Royal Canadian
Legion Ladies Auxiliary Gladstone Branch # 55, Fredericton
Junction. She volunteered many hours in
Fredericton and surrounding areas.
Darlene leaves
behind her 5 much loved children, Bob (Debby) of Tracy NB, Steve
(Ginny) of Springfield, NB, Janette Burns (Dennis) of Clarendon NB,
Monica Marche (Leo) of Middle Sackville, NS and Eugene (Patty) of
Burton NB. Sister Cathy Blunston (Eric) of Hanwell NB, 2
brothers; Reid Hall (Sheena) of Dartmouth and Randy Hall of
Fredericton, brother-in-law David White of Ontario. Darlene
was very proud of and cherished each of her 11 grandchildren and 18
great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and
nephews.
She was
predeceased by her husband of 52 years Vaughn Knorr who was the love
of her life, grandson Jackson, 4 sisters: Georgie Hall, Elizabeth
Hall, Christina Ross and Ellen White.
Due to Covid-19,
a celebration of Darlene’s life will be held at a later
date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Bishop’s
Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton

The family would
like to thank the Oromocto Special Care Home staff for the special
quality of care provided during Darlene’s stay, as well as
the staff of 4NW at the DECH.

memory of Darlene may be made to the Kidney Foundation, Heart and
Stroke, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, or a charity of the
donor’s choice.
