Darcy Ann L’Heureux Lee Friday October 30th 2020

Darcy L’Heureux passed away peacefully the morning of Friday, October 30, 2020, with the love of her family surrounding her, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Darcy Ann Lee to parents Lovett and Effie Lee in 1956, in the Town of Kimberley, British Columbia. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 13 years, Raymond L’Heureux; daughters Amanda LeBlanc and Jennifer Leslie; sons George “Geordie” Fee and Christopher “Michael” (Terrill) Fee; step-son Samuel L’Heureux; sister Vonna Pavan and brother Alan “Brian” (Marylin) Lee; as well as her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous relatives. She will also be dearly missed by her many friends. Darcy was predeceased by her parents, Lovett and Effie Lee; and siblings Robert Lee, Karren Willicome, Alma Coombes, and Sheila “Gail” Spiers. She will fondly be remembered for her bright smile and kind nature. From a young age, Darcy developed a passion for a broad range of crafts (many of which she learned from her mom). She also loved participating in a variety of sports and had a passion for cooking. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Red Deer Hospice Society for their care and compassion. In leu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made in Darcy’s name to the Red Deer Hospice Society (99 Arnot Ave, Red Deer, AB T4R 3S6).
