Daniel Paul “Danny” Coleman
1960-2020
Daniel Paul “Danny” Coleman – age 59, of
New Minas, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 in the Valley
Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, he was a son of
Patricia (née Griffin) (Robie) Ward, Canning and the late
Harry Coleman. Danny has been employed with Crown Fiber Tube for over
30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing crib, going
for drives and hockey, especially the Montreal Canadiens. He
loved gathering with his many friends and family at Tim
Horton’s. He is survived by his wife, Freda (Keddy);
daughter, Nancy (Jason) Lockhart, Coldbrook; sons, Ralph (Robyn)
Keddy, Cambridge, Dave Keddy (Tanya Carey), New Minas; sister, Sandy
(John) Therrien, New Minas; brother, Jeff Coleman (Dan Ferguson),
Wasaga Beach, ON; grandchildren, Dawson, Brooklyn, Kaylee, Kelsey,
Gavyn, Carter; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be
held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in the White Family
Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a
reception, will take place at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2020,
Pastor Christina Bigelow officating. Special thanks to Dr. Ann Gordon,
Dr. David Nunn, the staff of the Valley Regional Hospital and the
Annapolis Valley VON Home Care for their support and kindness
expressed to Danny and his family during this difficult time.
Donations in memory may be made to Diabetes Canada or Annapolis Valley
VON. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family
Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
