Daniel Alexander Stone Sonny February 28 1934 – August 30 2020

Passed peacefully away at his home in Port Blandford in the presence of his loving family, in his 86th year. Predeceased by parents Alexander and Mina (Pelly), special aunt Hettie Morgan, and beloved daughter Heather. Leaving with many cherished memories his loving wife of 64 years, Joan (Peddle) “Joanie”, his children Karen (Rick) in Florida, Janet (Michael), Robert, Susan (Don), and Pansy (Jim); grandchildren Jordan (Karen), Kaitlin, Emily (Robert), Natalie (Lucas), Julia (Jared), Madeline, Krista (Stefan), and Pam (Hubert); great-grandchildren Victoria, Malcolm, Gabriel, and Lily; and other family and friends.
Special thanks to Sandra Greening and the wonderful caregivers at Total Care Nursing, Ashley Matthews at Community Health, Dr. Jackie Elliott and her husband Tony, and all our friends for their support. We will miss him dearly.
A private family service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd at 11AM at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel, Clarenville with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Port Blandford. In his memory, donations may be made to the St. Aiden’s Church Fund, Port Blandford. Messages of condolence can be left at fewersfuneralhome.com.
