With love, peace and the support of her family, Dana Lynn Watson, of Durham and formerly of Priceville, passed away on Saturday, January 18th, 2020 after a determined battle with cancer at the age of 46. Dana was a loving, proud and dedicated Mom to her daughter, Addison. Beloved daughter of Tyna and the late Bev Watson. Loving older sister to Derek Watson and his partner Sabrina, and Dawn and her husband Chris McNab. Super proud aunt and faithful fan of her dear and cherished nephews, Cole, Ethan and Tate Watson, and she welcomed with open, loving arms to being an aunt to Josie and Grace McNab, and Brooke and Max Crawford. Dana will be missed and remembered by her closest friend, cousin Janice McNamara, her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Friends may call at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Wednesday, January 22nd from 1 – 3 and 6 – 9 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Dana’s life will be held at the Durham Community Centre, 451 Saddler Street West, Durham on Thursday at 1:30 p.m., followed by a time to further honour her life from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. Spring interment at McNeil Cemetery, Priceville. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to an Education Fund for her daughter, Addison (cheques payable to “Addison Newman Education Fund”), or the Owen Sound Hospital Foundation – Oncology Department would be appreciated by the family.

  1. So very sorry for your sorrow- We worked together many years ago at Care Partners, her smile and laugh was infectious! She was an amazing nurse, and a joy to be around. Compassionate, kind, funny- years later whenever we met it was Addison she spoke of- again with smiles and joy. She will be missed, and there is gratitude for knowing this amazing young woman…
