Daisy Tyers Monday October 5th 2020

Daisy Nelly Bauman Tyers completed her earthly journey to walk into the arms of Jesus on October 5, 2020. Born in Switzerland, Daisy, at six years old, immigrated with her family to Canada where she eventually met and married her handsome airman, Stewart (2007). Together for 58 years, they raised six children: Sharon (Leo) Newmann, June (Ross) Ayrhart, Miriam Tyers, Geoff (Pam) Tyers, Rosalie (Ty) Garde, Ann Gloyn; resulting in 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Daisy enjoyed a career first as a teacher and then a Customer Service Rep in the Catalogue Dept. of Sears Canada. She lived life with gusto, expressing her joy of life and love for the Lord in music. Her humour, smile and organ playing of faith-filled songs will be celebrated and remembered. Her favourite verse is, “You are my strength and song.” (Psalm 118:14) Family and friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross St. Brantford, on Thursday, October 8th 2020 from 6-8p.m. with a private family service the following day. Please be advised masks are mandatory and social distancing protocol is in effect. Donations in memory of Daisy can be made to Central Baptist Academy, Circle Square Ranch Brantford, or ABWE-Canada Venda-Project, Portugal. www.tollfh.ca
