Obituary of Dafrosa Kangleon Bunleon
83, of Halifax, passed away June 3, 2020, at Melville Gradens in Halifax. She was born January 1, 1937, in Baybay, Leyte, Philippines. Dafrosa was full of love and care for her family, friends and those in need. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother and great friend. She was a creative person, a hardworking woman and always extend and/or put others before herself. She loved to cook and was known as ‘Chief Cook’, decorate, exercise and entertain friends and family.
Dafrosa is survived by her loving family, daughter, Rose (Roger Desantis) Bourgeois, Jenny Bendijo; sons, Ric (Marilyn) Bunleon, Christopher (Marie) Bunleon, Kris Bunleon, Joseph Jeminez; twin grandsons, Albert (Sheena) Bourgeois and Thomas (Amber) Bourgeois; twin granddaughters, Stephanie and Isabelle Bourgeois; grandson, Miguel; four beautiful great granddaughters, Krystal Lynn Kelley, Evelynn Rose Bourgeois, Koralynn Marie Bourgeois, Sutton Lynne Bourgeois. She was preceded by her husband, Alberto Bunleon; father, Manuel Kangleon; mother, Leonita Coro; and only brother Ambrosio Kangleon, Sr.
Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, where a PRIVATE visitation will take place on Saturday, June 6. 2020.
We love you dearly, Mama Dada and may you rest in peace!!
