It’s with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Daciel DeSousa on Saturday December 5, 2020 at 86 years old.
Daciel was born on August 3, 1934 in Arrifes, Sao Miguel, Azores.
Daciel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Your family will forever cherish the wonderful memories and you will forever remain in our hearts.
Daciel is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Maria Eduarda; daughters Nelia (Tony), Maria (Carlos), Natalie (Claudio-deceased), son Valdemiro; grandchildren: Robert (Melissa), Richard (Amanda), Kevin (Wendy), Jennifer (Anthony), Melanie (Adam), Cynthia, Kimberly, Rachel and Brendan; great-grandchildren Jordan, Saint, Jessica, Hailey, Chase, Cruze, Vasco; sister Gilda, and extended family members and friends.
Daciel is predeceased by his parents; mother Maria de Conceicao Ferreira; father Manuel DeSousa, brother Manuel DeSousa; sister Maria Dos Anjos DeSousa; brother in laws Edmundo Costa, Raul Rodrigues, and son in law Claudio Raposo.
A private service with immediate family only will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on December 10, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.
Following the service, Mass of Christian burial will take place at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue at 11:30am.
(If attending the burial, please practice social distancing.)
