GREEN, Craig Richard –
Peacefully with family and friends surrounding him on Sunday February 2, 2020 at Lakeridge Health Ajax at the age of 65. Craig, beloved husband of Laura Green (nee: Anthony). Much loved father of Lindsay Threlkeld (Jeff), Emily Green (Andrew Brien), Jessica Boisvert (Nick), Rosie and Brittaney Jones, Jacob Bradley, Bryant Gaudette and Preston Nichols-Reid. Proud Poppa of Madison, Layla and Eden. Loved brother of Wayne Green and Kelly Shaw (Russell). Predeceased by his parents Ken and Ailsa Green. Craig will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all his family and many dear friends.
Craig was active in many activities, including track & field, soft ball, hockey, keeping tropical fish and building an ice rink in the back yard every winter. He studied electronics at George Brown College and could repair anything. He was a loving Foster Father for over 35 years and made a positive impact in many young lives. Craig had a lifelong love of motorcycles purchasing his first Benelli Motor Cycle in a box at the age of 17. Craig loved to travel, and being able to spend time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends may call at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on
Thursday February 6th from 1:30 pm.
A Celebration of Craig’s Life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers a memorial donation to Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre or the
Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
