Obituary of Corby Rae Innes
INNES, CORBY RAE – Peacefully with her family by her side, Corby Innes died at Bluewater Health on February 3, 2020 at the age of 63. Beloved mother of Erin Stratton- Innes, Sarnia. Cherished daughter of William & the late Linda (2010) Innes. Loving sister of Kevin Innes and Cal Innes (Jenn) Sarnia and the late Duncan Innes. Also survived by her nephew Duncan (Tess) Innes, Sarnia and several cousins & nephews in Saskatchewan. Corby was recently retired but worked for many years as a supervisor and bartender at the Point Edward Charity Casino and a waitress at the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club. She was a member of Greenwood Golf Club and played recreational 2 pitch for several years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. Private family interment in Lakeview Cemetery will take place at a later date. At the family’s request, for the health and well-being of Corby’s father William, please refrain from directly contacting him. Thank you.
