CONRAD – Gary S. “Noodsy”, 71, of Liverpool, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Born in Sudbury, ON, Gary was a son of the late Keith and Muriel (Roy) Conrad.
Gary worked for 30 years with Bowater Mersey Paper Company, Brooklyn, N.S., both in the T.M.P. plant and the rapid rewinder. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting, but Gary played many sports such as hockey, broomball, bowling and softball. Gary’s true passion was golf,. He was a member of the Liverpool Golf Club.
Gary is survived by his companion of 40 years Gloria Aulenback; step daughter Tammy Levy (Bridgette Hanley) of Liverpool; step granddaughter Blaize Lafferty; sisters Karen (Paul) Cooke and Sharon (David) Nowe both of Milton; Gail Lohnes of Fredericton, N.B., brother Barry (Heather Winters) of Brooklyn.
Besides his parents, Gary was predeceased by his brother Brian “Toe”
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, N.S.
