Obituary
CARDIN, COLLEEN – It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Colleen Marie (Underwood)(Vallina) Cardin, age 77 of Sarnia at Vision Nursing Home with her family by her side on Saturday, August 15, 2020. She was predeceased by her loving partner Gilbert Guillmette of Chapleau, loving mother of Kathleen Vallinga Lamb, Albert Vallinga and Elizabeth McManus (Vince) Deborah Wilson (Kevin). She was the cherished Nana of 8 grandchildren and their spouses and 15 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Beryl and John Underwood, her grandparents Valentine and Florence Harrison (who raised Colleen and her sisters in Corunna), and her sisters Valerie Cassin, Elizabeth Brown and her twin sister Kathleen Kann. She is survived and fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. Private cremation has taken place. Due to the current Covid-19 crisis and the current restrictions for services a celebration of Colleen’s life will be announced at a later date. Charitable donations in memory of Colleen can be made to the Legacy Lappers Fundraising Team “support for people living with cancer” (make cheques payable Legacy Lappers-no charitable tax receipts available) would be appreciated by the family.
