January 7, 1953 – May 17, 2020
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our loving Son, Brother, and Uncle, Wade Coles at his residence in Savage Cove, NL on May 17, 2020, age 67 years. He was the third of eight children born to Randell and Edna Coles on Jan 7th, 1953. Left to mourn, with loving and lasting memories, are mother Edna, bothers and sisters, Bob [Betty], Sheila [Leslie], Trudy [Gilbert], Lloyd [Trudy], Sharon [Tony] and Anne and brother-in-law Jim Furey. He was a very special uncle to Janine (Chris), Rodney (Melanie), Joanne, Paula, Darcy, Miranda (Sebastien), Robbie (Deanna), Kaitlin, Kobe, Tony, Chantelle, Tori and Kaydon, and great uncle to Kathleen, Jane, James, Ella, Ashton, Ralph, Parker, Lucien, Ariane, Bobby and Blake. He will also be remembered fondly by aunts Hazel Way, Sarah Way and Sybil Woodward. Wade was pre-deceased by his father Randell and sister Irene. Wade had a very active lifestyle, he loved the outdoors and spent many hours walking and shovelling snow. He also loved riding on his ski-doo and cutting wood, but his greatest love was fishing. He was a very responsible, dedicated and hardworking man. He fished with his cousins Roland and Darryl Way on their draggers for 45 years. We are sure they will miss him very much. The family would like to thank everyone who helped in anyway to make this difficult time a little more bearable. It was really appreciated. We would like to thank the Port Saunders RCMP, Flower’s Cove paramedics and Kerry M Fillatre Funeral Home for responding so quickly to our call on that dreadful evening. Your professionalism and know-how in handling this traumatic situation and kindness to us was very comforting and we will be forever grateful. Many thanks for a job well done. A private viewing was held on Friday, May 22, 2020. Cremation followed with the funeral service to be held at the Savage Cove Cemetery at a later date.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of COLES WADE 2020..
