It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Coates Albert Ripley, 76, on April 4, 2020, in his home, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was originally from Truemanville but spent the last 32 years in Middleboro. He is survived by his children, Cathy Ripley, Springhill, Neil Ripley, N.B., Candace Smith (OJ), P.E.I.; his grandchildren, Zane Ripley, Sackville, Sean Dexter (Trisha), Springhill, Ashley Ripley (Jessie), Oshawa, Ont., Dixie Reynolds (Charlie), Pugwash, Roxy Reynolds (Justin), Springhill; Jacklyn Allen (Stephen), Amherst, David Ripley, Middleboro, Allen McLellan (Shelly), Wentworth, Robert McLellan, Londonderry: Domonique Ripley (Nick), Krystal Ripley (Andrew), Jessie Lee Ripley (Tristan), all of P.E.I.; 21 great grandchildren: siblings, Robert Ripley (Doris), Nobleton, Ont., Melborne Ripley, Amherst, Albion Ripley (Joy), Allison Ripley, Mary Mac, Marjorie Brown, all of Truemanville, Flora Casey (Fred), Amherst, Sarah Arsenault (Fred), Truemanville, Janey Arsenault (Pat), Helena Brine (David), all of Amherst, Barbara Hope (Bruce), Georgetown, Ont.; sister’s-in-law, Bernice Ripley, Keswick Ridge, N.B., Rose Ripley, Amherst; several nieces and nephews across Canada; mother of his children, Coralie Ripley, Point de bute, N.B. He joined his parents, Allison and Weslene Ripley, son, Christopher Ripley, siblings, Melvin Ripley, Elda Leadbetter, William Ripley, Joseph Ripley, sister-in-law, Shirley (Goodwin) Ripley, brother-in-law, Pat Arsenault.
