Obituary of Clifton Rose
Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, June 28, 2020, Clifton Rose of Salmon Cove, age 87 years.
Predeceased by wife: Marion, parents: William and Elizabeth; granddaughter: Katrina; brothers: Harry (Pearl), Melvin, and Garfield (Marie); sisters: Maggie (Eric), Muriel (Clarence), and Dorcas (William).
Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Brenda Trickett (Byron), St. John’s, Carol Ann (Jeff) Mullins, Carbonear, and Elizabeth Rose (Ralph), Ottawa, ON; three sons: Clifton (Mona), Victoria, Clarence (Ellen), Paradise, and Kevin (Bonnie), Victoria; fourteen grandchildren: Simone (Tim), Ramona (Gary), Jarratt (Kristen), Colin, Heather (Mike), Sean (Meaghan), Katherine (Ryan), Kimberly (Kyle), Simon (Molly), Kevin (Trisha), Shane (Danielle), Brendan (Danielle), Jeffrey (Mattie), and Shauna (Jon); eight great-grandchildren: Nigel, Eve, Keely, Shayla, Jake, Jackson, Layla, and Cassidy; one brother: Fred (Joy, deceased), Salmon Cove; sister-in-law: Effie Rose, Salmon Cove; members of the Sweeney family; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Following government legislation due to the current pandemic, a private visitation will take place at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear, followed by a private funeral service from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove.
